The Embraer Phenom 300 was the most delivered business jet in the world last year, with 70 aircraft delivered around the world. This is the third consecutive year that the Brazilian built aircraft has topped the list. The Phenom 300 is one of the most desired business jets available for fractional ownership programs, charter services, corporations, and private pilot aircraft. There are 320 Phenom 300 series jets currently in operation in 28 countries. The fleet has accumulated around 300,000 flight hours. Embraer’s business jet market share has grown to 17% of global unit deliveries. Embraer delivered 120 aircraft last year, which includes Phenom, Legacy and Lineage models.

Embraer rolling out its new E2 Jet model

Embraer is rolling out its new E190-E2 jet this Thursday. The new E190-E2 aircraft is the upgraded version of the company’s original EJet, now called the E1. The E-family includes the 170, 175, 190, and 195 models. The E1 version first entered service in 2004. The E2 family upgrades include a new wing design, new Pratt & Whitney Geared Turbo Fan engines, and new aerodynamics and control systems. The airplane is more fuel efficient and quieter than the previous generation model. The EJets have seats are wider than those on competing smaller Boeing and Airbus jets, giving passengers a more comfortable flight experience. Embraer is currently the third largest commercial aircraft manufacturer in the world.
