Hello Kitty Streetcar to Union Lake is the Friday Pic of the Week for the 13th of May. We rode this trolley over to the Kenmore Air Lake Union Seaplane Terminal. Kenmore Air and it’s seaplane operations will be a feature story on this website in the coming week. Be sure to tune back in and check it out!
The Hello Kitty Streetcar that runs on the South Lake Union Line is one of two streetcar lines available to ride in Seattle. The other is the First Hill Line. A third line, The Broadway Streetcar project, will be a half mile long segment serving Seattle Central College and the commercial core area along Broadway. The project is currently in its final design stages, with construction expected to begin in late 2016. A fourth line, Center City, is currently in the Environmental Assessment stage.
