Norse Atlantic Airways launches ticket sales for new route between Paris and Los Angeles

Norse Atlantic Airways (NORSE.OL), the pioneering low-cost long-haul airline, is thrilled to announce the commencement of ticket sales for its direct route between Paris and Los Angeles. This new service, operating six times a week, is set to commence on 1st May 2024 and is available to book immediately on www.flynorse.com

Flights depart Paris (CDG) at 16.15 and arrive at Los Angeles (LAX) at 19.05. Flights depart Los Angeles at 21.10 and arrive at Paris at 17.00 the following day. One way fares start from €319 in Economy and €665 in Norse Premium including all taxes.

TUI River Cruises launches Nile River cruise with fourth ship the TUI Al Horeya

TUI (London: TUI) River Cruises has announced a brand-new River Nile cruise set to commence in Winter 2024 with exclusive TUI charter flights to Luxor from London Gatwick and Manchester Airports. The exciting expansion means that the river cruise line will add a fully refurbished five-star ship, to be named TUI Al Horeya, which means ‘freedom’, to operate seven-night, all-inclusive round-trip sailings from Luxor. TUI Al Horeya can accommodate 145 passengers and offers 74 cabins including singles, standard cabins and suites.

Two flights per week will operate from London Gatwick and Manchester to Luxor; a city which encompasses a mesmerizing blend of history, architecture, and culture. Flair Airlines Launches Edmonton to Quebec City Route

Frontier Airlines Launches Nonstop Flights From Miami, Florida to Kingston, Jamaica

STARLUX Launches Widebody Fleet with First Airbus A330neo

Toulouse, France February 21, 2022 – Taiwan’s STARLUX Airlines has taken delivery of its first widebody aircraft – an A330-900. It is the first of 26 Airbus (OTC: EADSY) widebodies set to join the airline’s fleet, comprising eight A330neo and 18 A350’s. 

The A330neo aircraft and one A350 are being acquired on lease from ALC, while the airline has 17 A350s on direct order with Airbus. Benefiting from the A330neo’s unbeatable operating economics and award-winning Airspace cabin, the aircraft will feature a two-class cabin with 28 business class seats and 269 economy class seats. 

The A330neo joins an existing fleet of seven single-aisle A321neo at the airline, and will complement the airline’s network by flying regional routes from Taiwan to the wider Asia-Pacific.

At the same time, STARLUX has also signed up for the computer-based ACE (Airbus Cockpit Experience) Suite training solution. Using a “learning by discovery” approach, STARLUX’s flying crew will be able to use the ACE Trainer that simulates a 3D Cockpit environment with guided lessons and free play. 

ACE Suite offers an efficient learning process that also provides customers with significant time savings off high-level devices training. Users can enjoy better knowledge retention and continuous skills reinforcement. ACE Suite is approved by EASA and in line with ICAO regulations.

Flying Kangaroo to Launch New Flights to Iconic Australia Outback Town

Qantas (QAN.AX) announced today it will add Broken Hill to its domestic route network for the first time, with the airline to begin direct flights from Sydney starting on April 8, 2022. The airline will operate two weekly round trip flights between Sydney and Broken Hill with its 50-seat Q300 aircraft.

QantasLink CEO John Gissing said the service will create stronger connections for the far west of New South Wales for both business and leisure travelers. Broken Hill Regional Council Mayor Tom Kennedy welcomed the announcement of the new Qantas services as they will provide the local community with additional choice and flexibility.

Broken Hill is the newest destination to join QantasLink’s extensive regional network, with the airline now operating flights to 57 regional and rural towns across Australia. With the inclusion, the Group has launched 52 new domestic routes, including many country destinations since the start of the global pandemic, as Australians seek new holiday adventures closer to home.

The flights will operate on a Monday and Friday to offer Broken Hill residents an easy long weekend in the city and allow visitors to make the most out of their outback exploration. Fares will start from $269 one-way, but to celebrate the new destination, Qantas is offering a special sale fare starting from $189 one-way, available for sale until 21 February, unless sold out prior.

Frontier Airlines Launches 13 New Nonstop Orlando Routes in November

Low-fare carrier Frontier Airlines (NASDAQ: ULCC) this week launches 13 new nonstop routes from Orlando International Airport (MCO), including service to five international destinations: Costa Rica, El Salvador, Jamaica, Mexico and The Bahamas. The new service expands Frontier’s Orlando route map to 81 nonstop destinations, the most of any airline at MCO and, to celebrate the new service, Frontier is offering introductory fares starting at $19*.
