Eve and Moviation Sign Letter of Intent for First eVTOL Urban ATM for South Korea

Melbourne, Florida, September 28, 2023 – Eve Air Mobility (NYSE: EVE) and Moviation, South Korea’s first Urban Air Mobility (UAM) service provider, announced the signature of a Letter of Intent to purchase Eve’s Urban ATM solution. The software solution will be a key enabler to the implementation and scalability of Urban Air Mobility (UAM) and provides critical traffic management services that will play an essential role in enabling the global UAM market to scale.

The agreement comes as Eve’s Urban ATM (Air Traffic Management) concept has been adopted as part of Korea’s K-UAM Grand Challenge. The Challenge is a phased demonstration program in which Urban Air Mobility (UAM) vehicle safety and traffic management solutions are tested in urban conditions and environments for suitability to support the commercialization of UAM in 2025.

From before take-off to after landing, the urban air environment will count on integrated systems, services and technologies being developed by Eve to enable the safe launch of an efficient and predictable ecosystem to support eVTOL operations alongside many other airspace users. In the future, the advancement of infrastructure and regulation will rely on these network management services to enable autonomous flight.

Eve and DHL Partner to Design a Supply Chain Concept for eVTOL Support

Melbourne, Florida – August 9, 2023 – Eve Air Mobility (NYSE: EVEX) and DHL Supply Chain, a global leader in warehousing and distribution, announced today the signature of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to conduct a study of key demands and supply chain characteristics for Eve’s electric vertical take-off and landing aircraft (eVTOL) operation. The primary goal of the partnership is to explore and understand best practices for supplying operators and service centers with spare parts and inputs, with an emphasis on batteries and the specific requirements concerning transport, storage and disposal of those devices. Other aspects reviewed will include modes of transportation, frequency, and delivery plan, required logistics partners, potential locations for advanced inventories, physical and technological infrastructure requirements and contingency plans.

The logistics study from Eve and DHL will encompass the distribution of parts and materials required for repairs and maintenance. Another crucial aspect to be considered is battery logistics, which holds significant importance in this business model. In this regard, DHL’s expertise in handling batteries from various industries will be leveraged. The companies will also evaluate supply chain management for general supplies to vertiports, optimizing the business processes.

Continuing to achieve significant milestones in the development of its eVTOL and agnostic solutions for the market ecosystem, Eve holds the largest backlog in the Urban Air Mobility (UAM) industry, with up to 2,850 aircraft. Among its accomplishments are the creation of a distinctive Urban Air Traffic Management (Urban ATM) software and the establishment of a comprehensive network of services and operational solutions. Las Vegas and Orlando are two of Spirit’s biggest cities, which means nonstop flights from MKE come with easy connections to nine additional destinations. Orlando also serves as one of Spirit’s biggest international gateways to the Caribbean and Latin America, providing access to numerous countries.

This year is off to a great start at Spirit Airlines. In addition to the opportunity to serve the Milwaukee-area market, in January, the carrier launched its new Free Spirit® loyalty program, which is the fastest way to earn rewards and status.* Spirit is also one of only three U.S. airlines listed on FORTUNE’s 2021 list of World’s Most Admired® Companies, which measures companies with the strongest reputation within their industries. Benoît Olano, Chief Executive Officer of Air Saint-Pierre, said: “We are looking forward to starting operations with our new ATR aircraft. We have been flying ATR since 1994, starting with an ATR 42 320, and the turboprop’s unique capabilities and continuous improvement have made it the ideal aircraft for our operations over the years. We will continue to provide to the people of Saint-Pierre and Miquelon the connectivity they need, along with greater comfort, whilst limiting our impact on the environment.”

ATR Chief Executive Officer, Stefano Bortoli added: “There is nothing more satisfying than seeing a loyal customer upgrade its fleet. Delivering regional connectivity in the challenging operational conditions of Saint Pierre and Miquelon and its neighbouring islands takes a special aircraft and the ATR 42-600 is the perfect fit. The airline’s operations are vital for the archipelago’s communities and we are truly glad to see our aircraft once again accomplish what they have been designed for: to connect people and places responsibly, no matter how remote.”
