This deal underscores Abelo\u2019s continued commitment to embracing the latest in cutting-edge turboprop technology. Notably, in July 2022, Abelo had placed an order for 10 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.atr-aircraft.com\/our-aircraft\/atr-72-600\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ATR 72-600<\/a> and confirmed a deal for 10 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.atr-aircraft.com\/our-aircraft\/atr-42-600s-stol\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ATR 42-600S<\/a> \u2013 Short Take-Off and Landing version. These additional aircraft will empower the lessor to meet the growing demand for efficient, cost-effective and dependable regional air travel connections worldwide, all while promoting the transition towards responsible aviation.<\/p>\n<p>While Abelo will take delivery of its first brand new ATR before year-end as part of the 2022 order, deliveries of these additional aircraft are scheduled for 2026 through to 2028.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>About Abelo<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Abelo is an Irish-based regional aircraft leasing platform specialising in turboprop aircraft dedicated to connecting communities and businesses in an economically and environmentally responsible manner.
