In collaboration with JGIC and involvement from Dr. <span class=\"xn-person\">Jane Goodall<\/span> herself, the awareness campaign will showcase animals endangered from IWT on the airline&#8217;s in-flight entertainment welcome screens, social media and more during Earth Month, along with a <a href=\"https:\/\/c212.net\/c\/link\/?t=0&amp;l=en&amp;o=4132124-1&amp;h=2576210716&amp;u=https%3A%2F%2Fleaveless.aircanada.com%2Fca%2Fen%2Fdo-more.html&amp;a=special+message+from+Dr.+Jane+Goodall\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">special message from Dr. <span class=\"xn-person\">Jane Goodall<\/span><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Air <span class=\"xn-location\">Canada<\/span> participates in the IWT fight with a zero-tolerance policy on carrying banned species, and hunting trophies or products associated with illegal wildlife activities. Air <span class=\"xn-location\">Canada<\/span> became a signatory to the Buckingham Palace Declaration in 2020, and was the first airline in the Americas to hold the IATA IWT certi\ufb01cation, which confirms policies and procedures are in place to reduce the likelihood of the transportation of illegal wildlife products. The airline became a member of the United for Wildlife&#8217;s North America Regional Chapter\u00a0which launched in 2022, and has created IWT e-learning modules for all frontline employees and managers in Air Canada Cargo, its freight business.<\/p>\n<p>To further support The Jane Goodall Institute of <span class=\"xn-location\">Canada&#8217;s<\/span> ongoing environment and conservation work, Aeroplan will be launching a Points Match Week beginning Earth Day, <span class=\"xn-chron\">April 22-28<\/span>.
