The new\u00a0PreCheck\u00a0center\u00a0allows passengers\u00a0an express option to\u00a0bypass long security lines.\u00a0The new\u00a0PreCheck center, one of 38 in the US,\u00a0offers flyers the service for an $85 fee, and is good for a 5\u00a0year period. US citizens and permanent residents are eligible to apply for the program, and\u00a0requires registration at\u00a0one of the 356 application centers across the country (including Austin).
