{"id":15604,"date":"2026-04-20T00:11:00","date_gmt":"2026-04-20T05:11:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/planesintheair.com\/?p=15604"},"modified":"2026-04-20T00:14:04","modified_gmt":"2026-04-20T05:14:04","slug":"jal-jubilee-express-begins-domestic-flights-on-june-4-2026","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/planesintheair.com\/?p=15604","title":{"rendered":"JAL Jubilee Express begins domestic flights on June 4, 2026"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Story and image from Japan Airlines Co., Ltd.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Urayasu, Chiba, Japan<\/strong> &#8211; Japan Airlines Co., Ltd., hereinafter JAL (headquarters: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo; President and Group CEO: Mitsuko Tottori) and Oriental Land Co., Ltd., (headquarters: Urayasu-shi, Chiba; Representative Director, President and COO: Wataru Takahashi) will launch the &#8220;JAL Jubilee Express&#8221; (Boeing 737-800) to operate domestic flights in Japan for a limited period beginning June 4, in commemoration of the Tokyo DisneySea\u00ae Park 25th anniversary event: Tokyo DisneySea 25th &#8220;Sparkling Jubilee.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The &#8220;JAL Jubilee Express&#8221; is a special aircraft livery created through a tie in between Tokyo DisneySea &#8212; celebrating its 25th anniversary &#8212; and JAL, an official sponsor since the grand opening of Tokyo Disneyland in 1983. The two companies first collaborated on a special aircraft livery in 2001, the year Tokyo DisneySea opened, and this aircraft marks the seventh partnership to date.<\/p>\n<p>The aircraft design features &#8220;Jubilee Blue,&#8221; the theme color of the Tokyo DisneySea 25th &#8220;Sparkling Jubilee&#8221; anniversary event, as its base. It will also be decorated with Mickey Mouse and other Disney friends dressed in special outfits, along with DisneySea AquaSphere &#8212; the symbol of Tokyo DisneySea &#8212; and Mount Prometheus. This special design extends to inflight items such as headrest covers and paper cups.
