{"id":16,"date":"2015-12-31T01:08:07","date_gmt":"2015-12-31T07:08:07","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/planesintheair.com\/?p=16"},"modified":"2016-02-15T23:03:26","modified_gmt":"2016-02-16T05:03:26","slug":"embraer-e190-e2-expected-to-roll-in-february-2016","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/planesintheair.com\/?p=16","title":{"rendered":"Embraer E190-E2 expected to roll in February 2016"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Embraer SA of Brazil plans to roll out its first E190-E2 next generation jet\u00a0on February 25, 2016, at its headquarters in S\u00e3o Jos\u00e9 dos Campos, Brazil.\u00a0The first flight for the E190-E2\u00a0is currently planned\u00a0for the second half of 2016, with first deliveries expected to commence\u00a0in 2018.<\/p>\n<p>Ember SA has currently landed\u00a0267 firm orders for\u00a0the E2 jets since the program was officially launched in 2013 at the Paris Air Show.\u00a0The program also includes the larger E195-E2 jet, set to follow into\u00a0service in 2019, and then the E175-E2\u00a0jet planned to\u00a0enter service in 2020.<\/p>\n<p>These next generation aircraft will be powered by Pratt &amp; Whitney PW1900G geared turbofan engines.
