It appears that the answer will be yes. There are serious concerns that the new facility\u00a0could possibly interfere with radar tracking at the Los Angeles International Airport, creating a potential hazard for aircraft landing at the fourth busiest airport\u00a0in the US.\u00a0The FAA\u00a0has deemed the structure hazardous, and proposed design changes to\u00a0fix any possible radar interference issues.\u00a0The stadium will need to be\u00a0coated with radar absorbing material, or have the stadiums geometric\u00a0design altered so that the\u00a0structure reflects the signals away from the source.\u00a0The new\u00a0stadium\u00a0is being\u00a0built in Inglewood, less than 3 miles away from the closest LAX\u00a0runway. This could possibly interfere with radar tracking\u00a0of approaching aircraft,\u00a0causing its location to be plotted incorrectly, according to the FAA report.
