The Airbus A320 aircraft, aptly named \u201cBear Force One,\u201d was unveiled at an event this morning at Boston Logan International Airport, where JetBlue and Bruins executives were joined by Bruins\u2019 mascot, Blades the Bruin, to surprise and delight customers. \u201cBear Force One\u201d officially took flight this afternoon, transporting excited Bruins fans to Raleigh, N.C. for Game 3 of the NHL\u2019s Eastern Conference Finals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cBear Force One\u201d is JetBlue\u2019s first livery dedicated to a team in the NHL and its third livery dedicated to a Boston professional sports team. The new paint scheme features a large-scale version of the Bruins\u2019 iconic spoked-B logo on the tailfin, a nod to the often used reference to Boston as \u201cthe hub of the universe.\u201d The logo\u2019s central \u2018B\u2019 encircled by spokes mirrors the central role that Boston has played in JetBlue\u2019s network from the very beginning. Next to the boarding door, customers will be greeted with a \u201cBoston\u2019s Team Since 1924\u201d wordmark, denoting the Bruins\u2019 long legacy and tradition in its home city.
