This construction is part of a much broader airport expansion project that will cost close to one billion euros. Construction of the next phase will start in early 2016, and will add another\u00a0new wing to the south end of the international terminal. That construction should be completed by the summer of 2017. The project will add more gate space for new international flights, and reduce the time to turn aircraft around. Once\u00a0the new south wing is completed, construction will begin on a new west wing to be finished\u00a0by 2020.
