The airplane is\u00a0the first of 4 Dreamliners leasing company MG Aviation\u00a0has on order. Norwegian will add the\u00a0787-9 to its current fleet of 8\u00a0787-8&#8217;s. The airline will use the larger -9 aircraft\u00a0to expand its\u00a0routes across North America, South America, and Asia. The airline\u00a0currently fly&#8217;s to over\u00a0130 destinations across Asia, Europe, the Middle East, North Africa, and the US. The airline operates an all Boeing fleet, with 90 737-800&#8217;s, 8 787-8&#8217;s, and 1 787-9. The airline has\u00a0ordering 19 787-9&#8217;s with a list price of over\u00a0$5 billion. Airlines routinely negotiate for a substantial discount on their orders.<\/p>\n<h2>Norwegian Flying Greta Garbo<\/h2>\n<p>The Swedish actress Greta Garbo is gracing the tail of Norwegian\u2019s first 787-9. The airline is known for its white and red\u00a0livery that\u00a0sports\u00a0portraits of famous\u00a0Scandinavians on their aircraft tails. Other famous tail fin characters on the airlines planes include skater Sonja Henie and author Hans Christian Andersen.
