It specifically addresses a report defect found in a wing component of some of the airplanes.\u00a0The issue is related to some of the aircraft wing\u00a0<\/span>fastener holes that may not have had the debris\u00a0from the manufacturing process\u00a0properly\u00a0removed. This can lead to possible\u00a0fatigue cracking, weakening the primary wing structure. The weakening could possibly lead to a failure to sustain the load\u00a0of the fuselage. The FAA directive\u00a0takes\u00a0effective March 9, and requests a revision to the maintenance and\u00a0inspection programs.
