{"id":7681,"date":"2020-03-02T20:33:55","date_gmt":"2020-03-03T02:33:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/planesintheair.com\/?p=7681"},"modified":"2020-03-02T20:38:08","modified_gmt":"2020-03-03T02:38:08","slug":"delta-offers-seattle-customers-more-options-this-summer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/planesintheair.com\/?p=7681","title":{"rendered":"Delta Offers Seattle Customers More Options This Summer"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>New service to Dallas\/Fort Worth and Columbus, Ohio, on\u00a0fuel-efficient Airbus A220s.<\/li><li>Expanded service to 12 U.S. cities.<\/li><li>Delta will operate daily service to London-Heathrow, Europe\u2019s top international market, in 2021.<\/li><li>70% of flights on larger, mainline aircraft, enhancing customer comfort and experience with seat-back entertainment and WiFi.<\/li><li>Upgraded, next-generation aircraft in top business and leisure markets.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Delta is committed to offering Seattle customers more options for summer travel than ever before with the launch of new, three-times daily service to Dallas\/Fort Worth, new nonstop service to Columbus, Ohio, and expanded service to 12 popular destinations: Anchorage;&nbsp;Atlanta; Austin; Boise, Idaho; Boston; Bozeman, Mont.;&nbsp;Kansas City; Las Vegas; Orlando; Spokane, Wash.; Tampa; and Washington-Dulles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These additions mean Delta will offer 190 daily departures to 56 destinations this summer from Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. Dallas\/Fort Worth marks Delta\u2019s second Texas destination from Sea-Tac, building on the Austin service launched in 2017.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As Seattle\u2019s global carrier, Delta plans to launch nonstop service to London-Heathrow in 2021. The route expands the airline\u2019s lead of offering the most global destinations from Seattle than any other airline, with London joining Delta\u2019s existing nine international markets. The service also complements partner Virgin Atlantic\u2019s twice-daily service and offers customers the choice of three daily flights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cOur customers\u2019 demand for new destinations, award-winning service, commitment to seat-back entertainment and superior reliability are what drives Delta\u2019s continued growth in Seattle,\u201d said Tony Gonchar, Delta\u2019s Vice President \u2014 Seattle. \u201cWith our extensive partner service from Seattle on Virgin Atlantic, Air France, Korean Air and Aeromexico, customers can expect a seamless journey across the globe.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>New summer destinations and expanded service for Seattleites<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Delta\u2019s overall domestic summer service from Seattle includes top leisure and business destinations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Starting June 8, Delta will launch:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Three daily flights to&nbsp;<strong>Dallas\/Fort Worth&nbsp;<\/strong><\/li><li>New daily flight to&nbsp;<strong>Columbus, Ohio&nbsp;<\/strong><\/li><li>A second flight to&nbsp;<strong>Austin<\/strong><\/li><li>A second flight to&nbsp;<strong>Orlando&nbsp;<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>These flights to Dallas, Columbus and Austin will operate on Airbus A220 aircraft; the Orlando service will operate on a Boeing 737-900.
