Kamen, who has a longstanding relationship with Boeing through\u00a0FIRST<\/em>\u00a0Robotics, is also a founder of\u00a0DEKA Research and Development Corporation. He worked with DEKA to secure the face masks from manufacturers in\u00a0China\u00a0and turned to Boeing to facilitate their transport.
