Southwest 737 sitting at my gate at the Houston Hobby Airport. This connecting flight headed for Austin was the same\u00a0airplane\u00a0I had just arrived on. I had to journey through the new customs facility\u00a0that\u00a0had just recently been opened.\u00a0After\u00a0finding out what gate my connecting flight was\u00a0departing from, I proceeded to that gate. What I found was the same Southwest 737 airplane I had just arrived on about 25 minutes earlier.<\/p>\n

Southwest 737’s Now Use New International Concourse<\/h2>\n

Southwest 737’s are now using\u00a0the new international concourse that opened at William P. Hobby Airport in Houston, Texas. The facility opened\u00a0on October 15th\u00a0of\u00a02015, and signaled\u00a0the return of international flights to the\u00a0airport facility. Over\u00a012 million passengers a year pass through Houston’s Hobby Airport. The newly completed construction includes a concourse with 5 additional\u00a0gates that will handle\u00a0international flights to Latin America and the Caribbean.
