The ride\u00a0services\u00a0company, a competitor of Uber, is offering a new promotion for members of\u00a0the Southwest Airlines Rapid Rewards\u00a0program.\u00a0Throughout the rest of the year, the airline will award Southwest Airlines Rapid Rewards customers with 1,100 bonus points after taking their first ride on Lyft from one of 11 different airports served by the two companies, including McCarran Airport in Las Vegas.\u00a0The new program was announced last\u00a0Thursday, March 31. This is\u00a0the second collaboration between the two companies. Earlier this month, Lyft offered a $15 discount off of a first time ride for\u00a0Southwest customers who were\u00a0not enrolled in the airlines Rapid Rewards program. That offer is also good throughout the end of the year, but cannot be combined with the new offer.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\">Lyft Partners Airports<\/h2>\n<p>In addition to McCarran Airport in Las Vegas, the promotion\u00a0is also valid at the following airports:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Austin, Texas<\/li>\n<li>Chicago, Illinois (Midway Airport)<\/li>\n<li>Dallas, Texas (Love Field)<\/li>\n<li>Los Angeles, California (LAX)<\/li>\n<li>Louisville, Kentucky<\/li>\n<li>Nashville, Tennessee<\/li>\n<li>Oakland, California<\/li>\n<li>San Antonio, Texas<\/li>\n<li>San Diego, California<\/li>\n<li>Washington, DC (Reagan Airport)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Lyft is currently the second\u00a0biggest ride\u00a0service company in the US.\u00a0This deal with Southwest follows one announced in\u00a0February\u00a0between Uber and\u00a0American Airlines.
