This takes the total order of Trent XWB-84 engines to 32. The first aircraft will enter service later this year. The Trent XWB-84 is the best widebody engine in the world. It’s designed, engineered, and optimised specifically for the Airbus A350 – delivering the lowest fuel consumption of any widebody engine and chosen by the world’s most profitable airlines. The best gets even better with the introduction of the Trent XWB-84 EP, offering a further 1% fuel burn saving worth $5m a year for the average fleet.

Rolls-Royce is investing £1 billion across our modern Trent engines to increase their durability by an average of 80%, with a significant portion being delivered in 2025.

TotalCare is designed to provide operational certainty for customers by transferring time on wing and maintenance cost risk back to Rolls-Royce.
