Daher TBM 980 certified by Brazil’s airworthiness authority

São Paulo, Brazil, March 9, 2026 – Daher Aircraft’s TBM 980 has been certified by Brazil’s ANAC airworthiness authority (Agência Nacional de Aviação Civil), clearing the way for deliveries of the TBM airplane family’s latest version to owners and operators in this South American country and the surrounding region.

Equipped with Garmin’s third-generation G3000® PRIME integrated avionics suite and additional cabin comfort enhancements, the turboprop-powered TBM 980 was unveiled on January 15 at Tarbes, France following its certification by the European EASA and U.S. FAA airworthiness agencies.

Five TBM 980s already have been delivered to U.S. customers from Daher Aircraft’s final assembly line in Tarbes, France, along with the demonstrator airplane – which is based at Daher Aircraft’s U.S. headquarters site in Pompano Beach, Florida.
