Tokyo, Japan, June 1, 2026 ― Japan Airlines (JAL) has signed a partnership agreement with Keito Nakamura, who plays for Stade de Reims in France.
In 2018, Nakamura began his professional career with Gamba Osaka while still in high school, and moved to Europe at the age of 18. After playing in the Dutch, Belgian, and Austrian leagues, he transferred to “‘Stade de Reims”‘ in 2023, where he currently plays. He has drawn global attention as one of Japan’s leading attackers, achieving historic milestones in the league as the first Japanese player to score in five consecutive matches and reach double-digit goals in a single season.
JAL deeply resonates with Nakamura’s attitude of always aiming higher, overcoming numerous obstacles, and continuing to challenge himself on the world’s front lines. This partnership was realized through a shared, passionate desire to empower the challenges of the next generation.
Through this partnership, JAL will fully support Nakamura by providing comfortable travel to ensure he can perform at his absolute best on the global stage. Together with Nakamura, JAL will also launch initiatives to support future challengers as they take their own “new steps.”
