Papeete, French Polynesia, June 3, 2026 – Polynesian airlines Air Tahiti Nui and Air Tahiti are pleased to confirm the activation of their codeshare signed in December 2025. In line with the announced schedule, passengers will be able to book and travel on the first flights operated under this commercial partnership starting today, Tuesday, June 2, 2026.
This partnership allows Air Tahiti Nui to place its TN code on selected inter-island flights operated by Air Tahiti. The agreement opens new travel opportunities for visitors to The Islands of Tahiti, making it easier to reach the island of Bora Bora in French Polynesia, as well as Rarotonga in the Cook Islands.
Travelers can now book a single ticket that includes:
- An international flight operated by Air Tahiti Nui (from Europe, the United States, Japan, or New Zealand),
- And an inter-island flight between Tahiti and their final destination—Bora Bora or Rarotonga—operated by Air Tahiti.
Passengers will travel aboard the Tahitian Dreamliner (Boeing 787-9 aircraft) on international flights operated by Air Tahiti Nui, and ATR 72 aircraft on inter-island flights operated by Air Tahiti.
This agreement strengthens the ties between the two airlines and represents a significant step forward in the travel experience to The Islands of Tahiti, offering international travelers greater convenience in planning their itineraries.
