Alaska Airlines got a new facelift yesterday, with the first update to the airlines livery in 25 years. The plane flew in to the airport under cover of darkness in the wee hours of the morning, fresh from the paint shop in California. It was then quickly taxied and parked inside one of the Alaska Airlines hangars. A new paint job covered the Boeing 737 as it was unveiled later in the afternoon in Seattle. The new livery has been labeled as more of an evolution than a revolution, and included inputs from the airlines employees. The airline has been ranked as having the highest customer satisfaction by J. D. Power and Associates  for the last 8 consecutive years. In other Alaska Air Group news, the airline has once again posted record fourth quarter and full year earnings for 2015, reported a fourth quarter profit of $186 million and a net income for the year of $842 million. The quarterly profit is a 49 percent year-over-year improvement and the full-year return is 47 percent better than 2014.
