Boeing must reveal how much it receives in Washington state tax credits

A new ruling by the Washington state Department of Revenue will require that Boeing, and other aerospace manufacturers, must disclose the amount of savings it receives from state tax credits for 2016. This is a reversal of its previous decision that Boeing did not have to disclose its savings. The issue of Boeing’s tax breaks has been going on for more than two years, after the company received $8.7 billion in tax credits for agreeing to keep the new 777X production facility in Washington state.
