McKinney National Airport is partnering with Texas Air Shuttle to start operation of daily flights between McKinney and Houston. Texas Air Shuttle provides an all you can fly concept that allows members to pay a monthly fee for an unlimited number of trips. The new route between McKinney and Lone Star Executive Airport, which is located about 45 minutes north of downtown Houston in Conroe, is scheduled to launch this spring. The price for membership will vary from $1,895 to $2,850 a month, per person. Texas Air Shuttle also has plans to expand flights from McKinney National Airport to other Texas cities, as well. New cities being looked at including Austin, Harlingen, Midland, and San Antonio. Service to Oklahoma City and Rogers, Arkansas are also planned. Texas Air Shuttle operates a fleet of Beechcraft King Air 200 aircraft, each flown by 2 pilots.
