Hyatt Hotels Corporation and San Francisco International Airport announced that they have entered into a management agreement to build a new 350 room Grand Hyatt hotel at the airport. The hotel will be located on the airport property, and the planned opening is scheduled for the summer of 2019. The Grand Hyatt hotels concept is to reflect the unique culture of the location to appeal to both travelers and the local community. Located at the entrance to the airport, the Grand Hyatt San Francisco International Airport will sit on a 4.7 acre site close to the airports terminal buildings and parking garages, with direct access to the AirTrain station and to the terminals. The hotel design will include 17,500 square feet of meeting space, a 24 hour business center, health club and spa, indoor heated pool, whirlpool, and sauna.
