Las Vegas Sands CEO sells over $5.2 million in company stock

Las Vegas Sands Corp. (NYSE: LVS) CEO and Chairman, Robert G. Goldstein, has sold 100,000 shares of the company’s common stock, according to a recent SEC filing. The transaction, which took place on March 15, 2024, amounted to over $5.2 million, with shares sold at a weighted average price of $52.06.

The sales were executed in multiple transactions with prices ranging between $52 and $52.26. Post-transaction, Goldstein still holds 172,801 shares indirectly through The Robert and Sheryl Goldstein Trust, signifying a continued stake in the company’s future.

China Southern Airlines flight CZ3892 carries ARJ21’s 10 millionth passenger

China Southern Airlines flight CZ3892 from Guangzhou to Jieyang on November 24th of 2023 rang in the 10 millionth passenger carried so far by China’s ARJ21 aircraft.

The ARJ21 aircraft is the first turbofan regional jet independently developed by China. Since the first ARJ21 aircraft was officially put into commercial operation in June 2016, a total of 117 aircraft have been delivered to customers Air China, China Eastern Airlines, China Southern Airlines, Chengdu Airlines, Genghis Khan Airlines, Jiangxi Air, China Express Airlines and TransNusa. TAAG Angola Airlines to renew fleet with Boeing 787 Dreamliners

Hilton Reports Fourth Quarter and Full Year Results

The following results reflect the material impact that the novel coronavirus (“COVID-19”) pandemic has had on Hilton’s business. Highlights include:

Diluted EPS was $(0.80) for the fourth quarter and $(2.56) for the full year, and diluted EPS, adjusted for special items, was $(0.10) for the fourth quarter and $0.10 for the full year
Net loss was $225 million for the fourth quarter and $720 million for the full year
Adjusted EBITDA was $204 million for the fourth quarter and $842 million for the full year
System-wide comparable RevPAR decreased 59.2 percent and 56.7 percent on a currency neutral basis for the fourth quarter and full year, respectively, from the same periods in 2019
Approved 18,700 new rooms for development during the fourth quarter, bringing Hilton’s development pipeline to 397,000 rooms as of December 31, 2020
Opened 22,900 rooms in the fourth quarter, reaching the one million room milestone and contributing to 47,400 net additional rooms in Hilton’s system for the full year, which represented approximately 5.1 percent net unit growth from December 31, 2019
As of February 10, 2021, 97 percent of Hilton’s system-wide hotels were open

MGM Growth Properties Announces Pricing Of Upsized Senior Notes Offering

LAS VEGAS, Nov. 17, 2020 /PRNewswire/ — MGM Growth Properties Operating Partnership LP (the “Operating Partnership”) and MGP Finance Co-Issuer, Inc. (together, the “Issuers”), consolidated subsidiaries of MGM Growth Properties LLC (NYSE: MGP) (the “Company”), have priced $750 million in aggregate principal amount of 3.875% senior notes due 2029 (the “notes”) at par. The $750 million aggregate principal amount of the notes represented an increase of $250 million from the original offering size of $500 million. The offering is expected to close on November 19, 2020, subject to customary closing conditions.

The Issuers plan to use the net proceeds of the offering for general corporate purposes, which may include the redemption of up to $700 million of the Operating Partnership units held by MGM Resorts International (“MGM”) should MGM elect to exercise certain rights it holds to cause the redemption of such units for cash.
