Is a new Northeast Airlines on the horizon?

Is a new Northeast Airlines on the horizon? This question comes after spotting a new Northeast Airlines page on LinkedIn. The page states that the airline plans to re-launch the famed yellowbird flights in 2016! According to the post, the startup carrier is still in the planning stages, seeking both aircraft and a base for operations. The preferred location is reportedly a secondary airport somewhere in the greater New York City area. The original airline was started as Boston-Maine Airways by two northeastern railroads in 1931 as a contract carrier for Pan American World Airways, and was later sold to Delta Air Lines in 1972.
