Hong Kong’s International Airport authority has warning that it is on the verge of reaching its maximum capacity. This is after a record increase in passenger traffic of over 8% in 2015. The Airport stated that at the current rate, it expects air traffic to reach its annual maximum capacity of 420,000 passengers soon. The airport is looking at its options to expand, which includes building an additional 3rd runway.
