Hong Kong based Dragonair to be re-branded Cathay Dragon

Hong Kong based Dragonair will soon be re-branded as Cathay Dragon, as the Cathay Pacific Group has announced a new era of growth opportunity has arrived for its two airlines. Dragonair became a wholly owned subsidiary of Cathay Pacific in 2006, and has been adding new destinations to its flight network ever since. Passenger traffic has grown from 22 million a year to more than 34 million last year. This growth has been achieved by Cathay Pacific’s connecting of international passengers through China’s Hong Kong International Airport. The airline rebranding will benefit customers by providing them with more convenient and seamless travel connection options.
