Air China stated today that it will purchase 6 wide body 777-300ER aircraft from Boeing. The airplanes have a range of around 8,700 miles, and can carry up to 400 passengers. The list price of the order is $2.05 billion, although airlines are able to negotiate steep discounts on orders.
